During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed there to be two containers of Disinfectant wipes, three containers of Clorox wipes to be in a floor level basket accessible to the children in the VPK D room. The Licensing Specialist observed there to be Clorox wipes and Lysol spray accessible to the children in care in an unlocked cabinet. During the time of the inspection, the was resolved by a staff member moving the cleaning supplies out of reach of children. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times."

During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed there to be Goldfish crackers and Grain and Grow puffs to be stored in a basket with diaper cream. During the time of the inspection, this was resolved by the Operator removing the food from the basket. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "Food Storage Proper storage of food is essential to prevent food contamination, as well as, insect and rodent infestation. Correct handling and storage of all food is a key component in preventing food-borne illnesses. To prevent bacteria growth, cold food must be kept at or below 41 degrees Fahrenheit and hot foods at or above 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Facilities choosing to prepare food must have a designated space for food storage within the designated food preparation area or in a room not calculated as part of indoor floor space, and in an area not used for diapering. Off-site food storage is permissible only if the site of storage is a licensed child care facility under the same ownership that includes a food preparation area that meets licensing standards."

During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the blue car, the red marry-go-round, and the red climbing dome to have several areas of chipping paint. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "B. All playground equipment must be securely anchored, unless portable or stationary by design, in good repair, maintained in safe and sanitary condition, and placed to ensure safe use by the children. Maintenance must include inspections conducted every month of all supports above and below the ground and of all connectors and moving parts. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "A. The child care program must have written authorization from the custodial parent or legal guardian to give prescription and non-prescription medications. This authorization must be dated and signed by the custodial parent or legal guardian and contain the childs name; the name of the medication to be given; and date, time and amount of the correct dosage to be given. Prescription and non-prescription medications that are used on an as needed basis require the parent/ legal guardian to provide additional documentation on the authorization form to describe symptoms that would require the medication to be given. The child care provider must never administer a medication that is prescribed for one child to another child.K.
