Licensing specialist observed a background screening for an employee that was expired. The retained print expiration date was 2/5/2025. Provider was made aware of the expired screening and has been given 10 days to re-screen the employee. 5.2 Re-Screening A screening conducted under this rule is valid for five years, at which time a re-screen must be conducted in the same manner as the initial screening. A. The five-year re-screen is required for all child care personnel. B. The five-year re-screen must include, at a minimum, a criminal records check (both national and statewide), a sexual predator and sexual offender registry search, and child abuse and neglect history of any state in which an individual resided during the preceding 5 years

Fencing, including gates, must be continuous and must not have gaps or opening larger than 3 inches that would allow children to exit the outdoor play area.
