While conducting an unannounced fire drill the licensing specialist observed the approved alarm system not being used. Provider will begin using the alarm system from now on. Per DCF CCF Handbook Section 3.3.4, A: A. During the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. 2nd visit was conducted on April 02. 2025. Provider resolved this violation by conducting a fire drill utilizing the alarm system with the licensing specialist
