    In the two-year-old classroom, the teacher allowed the children to view the television more than the allowed time. The television was on during morning drop off, throughout the day and afternoon pickup. Per DCF HANDBOOK:4. C. Do not include the use of electronic media for children under two years of age. Electronic media may only be used for educational purposes or physical activity for children 2 years of age and older for no more than 1 to 2 hours per day. Director removed the Televison from the classroom

    Uneven flooring under the gate that separates the one's and 2's class. Ceiling tiles missing on the ceiling in the back threes class. In the three's-class trim around window and trim on floor missing, leaving a gap between wall and window. Two grey galloon paint containers in an area that child have access. Per DCF handbook: Physical Environment 12. Facility Environment All childcare facilities must be in good repair, free from health and safety hazards, clean, and free from vermin infestation. Carpets and floors must be clean and in good repair. There must be no blistered or peeling paint or wallpaper.Furniture, equipment, or plumbing must be clean, free of rust and sharp corners, and must be in good repair. Repairs, or other activities that could endanger the health or safety of children, may not take place during operating hours, even in areas not occupied by children. All areas and equipment must be free of fire hazards, such as lint build up in heating and air conditioning vents, filters, exhaust fans, ceiling fans, and dryer vents. Second visit 01.6.2025 corrective actions were made. The following was observed by the counselor. Corporation had handy man fix the repairs in question: Uneven floor was repaired with matching floor tiles. New ceiling tiles were added in the three's classroom. Moulding was added to the window and floors. Hazardous paint containers were removed at the time of complaint inspection

    Observed in all the children's bathroom, the toilet tissues and paper towel rack were replaced leaving areas on the walls which were not smooth and impermeable. The floor tiles in the bathrooms were broken and/or missing. The ceiling tile missing in the school age classroom. The wall behind the toilets in one bathroom had black spots/moisture stains. There were several holes in the bathroom that were not patched or covered. No panels that we saw on the eclectically outlets, in the school age building, VPK 1. No lock on the storage room in the school age building and the main building. Onsite reinspection will be conducted by June 5th to verify facilities repairs
