Complaint alleges that the school is employing individuals who are not authorized to work in the U.S. They have not gone through proper background checks or employment verification. FINDINGS: A complaint inspection was conducted on 8/7/2025. Upon arrival and prior to entering the facility, I observed a woman taking out the trash through the playground door. As I walked in, I saw the woman coming in and out of the 3y/o room. I walked through the facility and asked for IDs. When I arrived at the 3y/o room, the director for the sister school (DA) and the owner were standing in the doorway of the 3y/o room and the woman that was in that room was walking out of the room. I overheard the owner/director say "she cannot be here" in Spanish. So, I proceeded to ask for her name and ID to which she replied that she does not work here and she doesn't have her ID with her. I asked for her name again and she provided it to me (JE). The owner also told me that the teacher does not work there so i asked her why she was throwing the trash away. She stated that the individual was just helping her out and she does not work with the children. Once we returned to the office and sat down to have a conversation with the owner, she stated the following; Per the owner, the individual is a parent that offered to help her out sometimes. When I asked which child is she a parent of, the owner said that the child is not enrolled at the school anymore. I asked if she was in the classroom alone with the children to which she said no. I asked to see the school's camera recording for the last 30 minutes and the owner was having trouble showing me the footage. After a few minutes, I got it to work and I was able to see that the individual in question was alone from 1PM to 2PM. This complaint is substantiated and a non-compliance was issued for an unscreened individual alone with children
