09-01 · Animal Vaccinations FDCH/LFCCH Handbook
During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed a dog in the family home. The Operator did not have current vaccination records for the dog observed. This was brought back into compliance in at the time of the inspection in that the Operator called her son to remove the dog from the family home. The Operator's son did arrive and remove the dog from the home. This standard is brought back into compliance. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1: Animals, pets or fowl must be properly vaccinated, if vaccinations are available for the type of animal, pet or fowl; and be free from disease. Animals that are poisonous, aggressive, venomous, or pose a potential threat of harm to children in care are prohibited. Custodial parents or legal guardian must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises of the home. Such information may be provided by way of a parent flyer, a notification statement, or a statement included in the child's enrollment form. Documentation of current immunizations must be available for review upon request by the licensing authority

During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the fence behind the shed had a gap greater than 3 1/2 inches. The gap measured 1 ft and 4 inches wide. The Operator was given until 8/30/2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 7.6.F- Outdoor Time, Fencing and Play Area Requirements. F. Fencing, including gates, must be continuous, and shall not have opening or gaps larger than 3 1/2 inches that would allow children to exit the outdoor play area. The bottom or base of the fence must remain at ground level and free from erosion or buildup to prevent inside or outside access by children or animals
