Six knives observed on counter by sink in a four year old classroom, accessible to children in care. Completed at time of inspection as they were removed out of reach of children. Technical Assistance: All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times.
