03-01 · Technical assistance was provided that The staff-to-child ratio, as established in Section 402.305(4), F.S., is based on primary responsibility for the direct supervision of children and applies at all times while children are in care. 2.3.1 Mixed Age Groups A. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children under one year of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than four children of any age group, at all times. B. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children one year of age but under two years of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than six children of any age group, at all times. Director arrived at the center, along with additional children. Teachers went to their classroom with their assigned age groups and the standard returned to compliance at time of inspection. Compliant Ratio: Infants - 1:2 1-Year and 2-Years Old - 1:6 3-Years and 4-Years Old - 1:8
At time of arrival, FSC observed one staff with 11 children of mixed age groups. Staff was caring for one infant, two 1-year old children, five 2-years old children, and three 4-years old children. While FSC was counting ratio, an additional infant child arrived and a two-year old child

12-02 · Technical assistance was provided that all child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months
