A parent observed ratio at the time of drop off 7/17//2024. It was 11 children and 10 were 2-year-olds and one child was a 1-year-old that was for pretransition from the 1-year-old classroom to the 2 -year-old classroom The Licensing Supervisor (LS) explained to the director that once a one-year-old enters the room, they must follow the one-year-old ratio of 1:6, so there are two teachers in the classroom. Provided technical assistance from the handbook Section 2.3 Ratios The staff-to-child ratio, as established in Section 402.305(4), F.S., is based on primary responsibility for the direct supervision of children and applies at all times while children are in care. 2.3.1 Mixed Age Groups A. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children under one year of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than four children of any age group, at all times. B. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children one year of age but under two years of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than six children of any age group, at all times. The Licensing Supervisor (LS) observed that two children were missing from the attendance sheet for the one-year-old class, but they were present in the class. The teachers in the class fixed the issue immediately. The (LS) provided technical assistance explaining the importance of keeping track of the children leaving and going in case of an emergency

Licensing observed 1 staff caring for 7 infants, the staff returned to the room and it was completed at the time of the inspection. Licensing provided technical assistance explaining staff must not step out of the classroom. Also observed were 2 staff and 13 one y/o children, one child was moved to the 3-year-old class thus completed at the time of the inspection. Licensing spoke with the director regarding ratios explaining the ratio for 1 y/o is 1 to 6. Ratios afters corrections: 2:7 infants 1:13 age 3 2:12 age 1 3:18 age 4 1:15 age 4-5 1:9 age 2

Licensing observed 3 children in high chairs and 2 in low-feeding chairs during a no-feeding time. Licensing provided technical assistance explaining children must not be left in high chairs or other types of feeding chairs other than during feeding times. The outdoor playground area had an accumulation of trash. Licensing provided technical assistance explaining outdoor areas must be checked every morning prior use every morning. The staff cleaned the area, and it was completed during the inspection
