23-05 · Fire Drills
The last fire drill was conducted on 4/9/2025. During the inspection, a fire drill was conducted with Licensing Specialist. The fire extinguisher certification(s) are valid until 3/2026. The annual fire inspection was conducted on 5/29/2024. 23-5: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the fire extinguisher certificate was not current in the vehicle, in that it was last tagged on 3/2024, with an expiration date of 3/2025. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, Section 3.8.2, B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times

08-04 · Seat Belts/Child Restraints
At the time of inspection, licensing specialist observed two broken seatbelts. The director stated that the seat in the back row is not used which is one of the two broken seatbelts. Licensing specialist also observed a broken reflector light on the bus next to the double entrance doors. The director explained that the last fall the van was broken into (missing steering column cover) and stolen. The parts are on backorder. Be sure to have broken van parts replaced by due date. TA: Each child, when transported, must be seated in a back seat in an individual factory installed seat belt or federally approved child safety restraint. The child safety restraint must be installed, secured and used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and a copy of such instructions must be maintained (in the vehicle and/or on file)

35-12 · Communicable Disease Control
At the time of inspection, facility did not have documentation of annual refresher course on facility's exposure plan. Be sure to complete facility exposure plan refresher course by due date. TA: Personnel are required to be educated on the facilitys exposure plan regarding standard precautions before beginning to work and annually thereafter. Written documentation that child care personnel have participated in the facilitys annual refresher education for the exposure plan and understand the proper procedures in the event there is exposure to blood and potentially infectious fluids must be retained for 12 months and be available for licensing to review
