FSC observed an infant's crib without a fitted sheet. The crib had in place a blanket which the child was then removing and putting in his mouth as FSC was there. The substitution was made by removing the blanket because the child was already awake from nap time. The provider was then informed that a fitted sheet is needed for all cribs. The provider stated that she would notify the caregiver this afternoon to bring a fitted sheet tomorrow and if they did not they would not be allowed in the center. FSC also observed a 1-year-old in a crib with a blanket over him. Provider was informed that the child cannot have a blanket in the crib and that if the child is 1-year-old then the child should be in a cot and then he can use the blanket. Provider agreed. 3.6.1 Bedding and Linens Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Nap bedding is not required for school-age children; however, the program must provide an area for children that choose to rest
