46-01 · Daily Attendance
Child care personnel failed to ensure arrival and departure times were complete and accurate at the time of arrival or departure. CCF Handbook, Section 7.5, B Technical Assistance: Daily attendance of children must be taken and recorded accurately by the child care personnel, documenting the time when each child enters and departs the program. A. Attendance devices used for the purposes of tracking attendance may be used, but personnel must ensure the accuracy of the documented attendance. Each classroom must have an attendance sheet/class roster for the group of children occupying that space. Attendance sheet/class roster must accompany the child care personnel and the group of children throughout the day should they leave the classroom. B. The custodial parent or guardian may document the time when his/her child enters and departs the child care facility or program. However, child care facility personnel are responsible for ensuring that attendance records are complete and accurate. C. Attendance records must be maintained for a minimum of 12 months. D. Attendance records for Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten or School Readiness may be used, if applicable

FSC walked in the kitchen and observed an unlocked cabinet which contained Windex. FSC advised personnel to keep all locks on the cabinet due to the 1 year olds being accessible to them. There was no door or baby gate separating the classroom and the kitchen.Personnel locked all cabinets. 3.2 Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times

25-08 · Meals and Snacks
No thermometer was observed in one of the fridges (top and bottom) in the meal prep area and baby room fridge. Provider went out and brought new thermometers, Fixed at time of inspection. An accurate thermometer designed to measure cold storage temperature must be placed inside each refrigeration and freezer unit. Thermometers in refrigerators must show a reading of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and thermometers in freezers must show a reading of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The thermometer must be located in the center of the unit and be readily accessible. Thermometer temperature readings higher than specified above require further temperature testing of food samples stored in the unit using a probe type thermometer; and adjustments to the unit setting to reach and maintain the required readings must be made
