During time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the 2-3 years old classroom's bathroom cleaning materials exactly bleach and cleaning liquid. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times. Licensing Specialist observed empty pool in the outdoor area. Upon arrival to the facility, licensing specialist observed activity calendar posted in the wall which said today was a "water day." Licensing specialist asked staff about pool, and she said that they used it today already and that not all children use it. But those that do use it, bring their water clothes and towels. TA was given wading pools, including inflatable water slides with a landing area where water collects, are prohibited. An accurate thermometer designed to measure cold storage temperature must be placed inside each refrigeration and freezer unit. Thermometers in refrigerators must show a reading of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below, and thermometers in freezers must show a reading of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. The thermometer must be located in the center of the unit and be readily accessible.
