During the inspection the family service counselor observed that fire alarm system was not operating properly within area(s) of the facility was observed to not be in good repair. Technical support that was given to the provider stated that All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months

During the inspection the family service counselors observed three cribs at the facility used cribs that did not meet current federal guidelines for construction regulations as outlined in Title 16, Parts 1219,1220 & 1221 Code of Federal Regulations. Technical support that was given to the provider stated that children up to one year of age must be in a crib or playpen/play yard with sides for napping. Crib sides must be secured while there is an infant in the crib. Bar spacing must not exceed two and three-eighths inches. Cribs or playpen/play yards must meet the regulations as outlined in Title 16, Parts 1219, 1220 & 1221 Code of Federal Regulations, 2014, which is incorporated by reference in 65C22.001(7)(w), F.A.C

During the inspection the Family Service Counselor observed that three of the students at the facility did not maintain documentation that the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of each child were provided information regarding the potential for distracted adults to fail to drop off a child and leave them in the car annually during the months of April and September in that [ the provider didnt given the document to the parents in person or online for the month of April 2024 for the family service to review during the renewal inspection on 5/8/24.]. 18-12 · Bedding and Linens
FSC observed the blankets and pillows were touching the bottom of the cot on top of it while stored. Provider will be sending the blankets home to be washed to come into compliance. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week, and before use by another child. Bedding and linens shall not be stored in the bathroom, unless stored in cabinets
