03-01 · Technical assistance was provided that the staff-to-child ratio, as established in Section 402.305(4), F.S., is based on primary responsibility for the direct supervision of children and applies at all times while children are in care. 2.3.1 Mixed Age Groups A. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children under one year of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than four children of any age group, at all times. B. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children one year of age but under two years of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than six children of any age group, at all times

Infants - 1:3 1-Year and 2-Years Old - 2:12 3-Years and 4-Years Old - 1:12 Upon arrival to the facility, the classrooms were all in ratio. However, a fire drill took place to meet licensing requirements while licensing specialist present. While outside during the fire drill, licensing specialist approached the area where infants and 3-years old and 4-years old classrooms had exited to. There was only one staff (infant classroom teacher) with both groups. Per the staff, the 3-years and 4-years old classroom teacher went back inside to help with turning off the fire alarm. FSC walked back to find teacher or director. 3-Years/ 4- Years old staff walked back out and standard returned to classroom at time of inspection
