27-05 · Technical assistance was provided that a log must be maintained for all prepared meals being transported into the facility. The log must be retained for a minimum of 12 months. The log must include the delivery date, time of arrival, quantity and types of food, verification by the recipient of adequate temperatures of food, and the name and signature of the recipient. The facility shall not accept food that is not at the appropriate holding temperature. Meal and snack menus must be planned, written, dated, and posted at the beginning of each week in an easily seen place, accessible to the parents/guardians. Licensing specialist visited facility's kitchen and reviewed the menu which was scheduled to serve tacos. However, provider stated that the food today was rice and pork. When double checking with delivery food temperature logs, there was no record of the food temperature for today. After leaving the kitchen, and working on inspection in the office, the provider returned with completed log based on information provided by the person that received the food. Food was received at 8:30, per the log. When asked if the staff had written the temperature elsewhere, provider responded that she did not

12-02 · Technical assistance was provided that all child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months. Per provider, they will have repairs made today and they would not like the standard 30 day time frame
