License Specialist observed areas of the facility not to be in good repair. Afterschool Classroom with room capacity of Four (4) children. Water and mold stains were observed on the ceiling and walls. There was also chipped paint surrounding all the door moldings. Evident door removal left raw wood exposed with splinters and sharp edges were accessible to the touch of children in care. Technical Assistance was given to the Director as per the CCF Handbook that ( All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months. )

License Specialist observed that the Two (2) Year Old Classroom had a Room Capacity of Seven (7) children as per the Capacity Calculator given at the time of Initial. At the time of Routine Inspection Nine (9) children were observed napping in classroom. Technical Assistance was given to the Director as per the CCF Handbook that ( Each room routinely used as a classroom must provide the minimum 35 square footage of usable indoor floor space per child.) Violation was corrected at time of inspection by Director posting label of proper capacity number of Seven (7) instead of Nine (9) in a conspicuous place and rearranging proper teacher to child ratio
