    License Specialist observed Operator with Fifteen (15) Children and One (1) other individual who stated that she was the Substitute. License Specialist LW was unable to verify via Identification nor Personnel File. Individual was sent home at the time of employee arrival. Technical Assistance was given to the Operator as per the LFCCH Handbook that (Large family child care homes must meet and comply with all standards in s. 402.3131, Florida Statutes and with all requirements in this handbook at all times unless there are insufficient numbers of children in care to meet the definition of a large family child care home, in which case an additional employee is not required.) Violation was corrected at time of inspection upon arrival of Employee (Juan C. Alvarez)

    License Specialist observed Fifteen (15) Children in care in the Large Family Child Care Home at the time of arrival. [Three (3) One Year Old, Four (4) Two Year Old and Seven (7) Three Year Old.] Technical Assistance was given to the Operator as per the LFCCH Handbook that a large family child care home may provide care for one of the following groups of children, including household children under 13 years of age: A. A maximum of 8 children from birth to 24 months of age. B. A maximum of 12 children, with no more than 4 children under 24 months of age. Violation was corrected at the time of inspection as per the Employee arrived at 12:10 pm and Three (3) children were sent home. Ratio was back in compliance as 12 Children : 2 Teachers [ Two (2)-One Year Old, Three (3)-Two Year Old and Seven (7)-Three Year Old ]

    License Specialist observed that additional household members living on the premises were missing required background screening corresponding additional paperwork required. Technical Assistance was given to the Operator as per the 402.313(3) F.S. (3) that ((3)Child care personnel in family day care homes shall be subject to the applicable screening provisions contained in ss. 402.305(2) and 402.3055. For purposes of screening in family day care homes, the term includes any member over the age of 12 years of a family day care home operators family, or persons over the age of 12 years residing with the operator in the family day care home. Members of the operators family, or persons residing with the operator, who are between the ages of 12 years and 18 years shall not be required to be fingerprinted, but shall be screened for delinquency records.)
