During the inspection the family service counselor observed that the child care personnel administering medication did not have documentation of education on proper administration procedures. Technical support that was given to the provider stated that prior to administering medication to children, child care personnel responsible for administering medication must be educated on proper administration procedures. 20-03 · Crib Requirements

During the inspection the family service counselors observed three cribs at the facility used cribs that did not meet current federal guidelines for construction regulations as outlined in Title 16, Parts 1219,1220 & 1221 Code of Federal Regulations. Technical support that was given to the provider stated that children up to one year of age must be in a crib or playpen/play yard with sides for napping. Crib sides must be secured while there is an infant in the crib. Bar spacing must not exceed two and three-eighths inches. Cribs or playpen/play yards must meet the regulations as outlined in Title 16, Parts 1219, 1220 & 1221 Code of Federal Regulations, 2014, which is incorporated by reference in 65C22.001(7)(w), F.A.C

During the inspection one of the children at the day care physical was expired and the Florida Certificate of immunization was not acceptable in that: [ The form was not current (expired)]. Technical support that was given to the provider The Student Health Examination or the signed statement is valid for two years from the date the physical was performed. FSC observed the facility did not document the fire drills for the month of November to January. Fire drill was done today with DCF to be in compliance. During the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care

FSC observed that part of the floor in the lunch area was not in good reoair. TA was given to the director (All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months)
