23-07 · Technical assistance was given to provider per CCF handbook " A current attendance record and parent contact information must accompany child care personnel out of the building during a drill or actual evacuation and be used to account for all children. The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises. Each fire drill record must be maintained for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the fire drill. The fire drills conducted must include, at a minimum: 1. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route, 2. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times, and 3. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority. 14-04 · Lighting, Temperature, and Ventilation
A/C unit in the 4 and 5 year old classroom was not working. Room temperature was at 86 degrees Fahrenheit. TA was given to the director ( An inside temperature of 65 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit must be maintained at all times.) Completed at the time of inspection. Children were move to different classrooms. ( room capacity and ration was maintained)

FSC observed that the sheets been use in the infant's classroom were not tight fitted. TA was given to the director ( All personnel that care for infants must follow safe sleep practices as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as referenced in Caring for Our Children Basics Health and Safety Foundations for Early Care and Education, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(v), F.A.C. Cribs or playpens/play yards must have tight fitted sheets and no excess bedding, which includes but is not limited to: bumper pads, hanging mobiles, quilts, comforters, pillows, stuffed animals and cushions)
