33-09 · Technical assistance was given to provider per CCF handbook "Safe Sleep/ Shaken Baby Syndrome Training All child care personnel who work in a facility that offers care to infants must have training regarding guidance on safe sleep practices, preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; recognition of signs and symptoms of shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; strategies for coping with crying, fussing, or distraught child and the development and vulnerabilities of the brain in infancy in early childhood within 30 days of hire at the facility. FSC observed that driver of facility, did not complete the required safe transportation practices before transporting children. Technical assistance was given to provider per CCF handbook "All child care personnel participating in the transportation of children must have training regarding guidance on safe transportation practices prior to participating in transportation of children. For child care personnel to satisfy this requirement the training must be accomplished through the Departments Transportation Safety course or the Early Learning Floridas Precautions in Transporting Children course. Child care personnel working at a facility currently providing transportation must complete training by April 1, 2020. Documentation of training must be maintained on the training transcript in the child care personnel file. "
