The use zone must extend a minimum of 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the playground equipment, unless manufacturer specifications for safe usage requires less fall/use zone material. Permanent or stationary playground equipment must have a fall/use zone that extends a minimum of 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the equipment.
