Children were napping at the time of inspection in the two and 3 year old rooms in front of the exit door. In the infant room their was also a crib in front of the exit door. 04-11 · Supervision
On 04/27/23, a teacher in the one year old room was found unresponsive in the classroom in front of the children at the child care center. Paramedics were called and the teacher was given Narcan transported to the hospital. The teacher admitted to another agent of the department that she she had narcotics on her person and went into the bathroom and ingested the narcotic. The teacher also admitted to the other agent of the department that she had been under the influence of narcotics while working at the facility previously. The operator, employee or substitute was supervising children while using or under the influence of narcotics, alcohol or other drugs that impaired the individuals ability to provide safe child care.
