There are no staff present with current First Aid. By December 31, 2021, the facility shall maintain the following number of child care personnel with the CPR certification and first aid training that are on site at the facility at all times children are in care. For child care personnel to count to meet requirement in the below chart, they shall be child care personnel assigned to provide direct supervision of children in care: If the facility needs 1 staff to meet ratio, then that person must be certified. If the facility needs 2 staff to meet ratio, both of them must be certified. If the facility needs 3 staff to meet ratio, then they all must be certified. Do not include the use of electronic media for children under two years of age. All personnel that care for infants must follow safe sleep practices as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as referenced in Caring for Our Children Basics Health and Safety Foundations for Early Care and Education, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(v), F.A.C. Cribs or playpens/play yards used for infants must have tight fitted sheets and no excess bedding, which includes but is not limited to: bumper pads, hanging mobiles, quilts, comforters, receiving blankets, pillows, stuffed animals and cushions.
