Licensing specialist observed Two cans of Tropical Fruit Salad were stored on the floor in the kitchen. TA was provided: Licensing specialist discussed food storage requirements with staff responsible. Staff responsible removed the cans and stored them above the floor, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. 3.9.2 Food Storage: Proper storage of food is essential to prevent food contamination, as well as, insect and rodent infestation. Correct handling and storage of all food is a key component in preventing food-borne illnesses. To prevent bacteria growth, cold food must be kept at or below 41 degrees Fahrenheit and hot foods at or above 135 degrees Fahrenheit. • During the inspection, CCR observed on the School Age playground the fence at the base of the fence had a gap more than 3 inches off the ground and was sticking out where a child could get hurt. The outdoor play area must have adequate fencing or walls a minimum of 4 feet in height. The base of the fence must remain at ground level and be free from erosion or buildup to prevent inside and outside access by children or animals.
