23-02 · Fire Drills
The last fire drill was conducted on 6/13/2025. During the inspection, a fire drill was conducted with Licensing Specialist. The fire extinguisher certification(s) are valid until 6/2026. 23-2: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the annual fire inspection was conducted on 6/20/2025, however the inspection as not approved, in that there were non-compliances on the fire inspection. 12-2: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that certain areas in the facility were not in good repair, in that there was a parts of the wall peeling in the two year old classroom and some small holes in the VPK Prep bathroom. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there were 2 diaper creams that were expired. During the inspection, staff discarded the diaper creams. 5-3: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the transportation logs were not maintained for 12 months, in that the director could not fine the April 2024 transportation logs. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, A. A log must be maintained for all children being transported in a vehicle or on foot away from and/or to the premises of the child care facility. The log must be retained on file at the facility for a minimum of 12 months and available for review by the licensing authority. The log must include: 1. Each childs name, 2. The date and time of departure, 3. Time of arrival at the destination, 4. The signature of the driver (or in the case of travelling on foot, the signature of the child care personnel), and 5. The signature of a second child care personnel or person(s) authorized by the provider to verify the transportation log and that all children have arrived safely and left the vehicle (if applicable)
