Licensing Specialist observed the outlet covers for 3 outlets in 3 rooms were missing. TA was provided: Licensing Specialist discussed requirement with the provider. Director covered all 3 outlets, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, I. All accessible electrical outlets must be tamper-resistant electrical outlets that contain internal shutter mechanisms to prevent children from sticking objects into receptacles. Licensing Specialist observed the fire drill was not conducted for the months of May and June 2025. TA was provided: Licensing Specialist discussed requirement with the provider. CCRC observed that all fire extinguishers in vehicles #1, #2, and #3 were not tagged to show that they were serviced and maintained. Provider did not know that they need to service and tag the fire extinguishers that are located on vehicles used to transport children. 3.8.2 Fire Safety B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times. C. The distance to the nearest extinguisher shall not be more than 75 feet from rooms occupied by children. 24-17 · Food Preparation Area
CCRC observed a box of MOTTE (gummies) and a box of juice boxes stored on the floor in the bathroom in room 115. Provider informed CCRC that these boxes are left overs from last week birthday party. Technical assistant was provided, provided removed all boxes from bathroom and stored them in a sanitary manners above the floor, Thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. 3.9.2 Food Storage Proper storage of food is essential to prevent food contamination, as well as, insect and rodent infestation. Correct handling and storage of all food is a key component in preventing food-borne illnesses. To prevent bacteria growth, cold food must be kept at or below 41 degrees Fahrenheit and hot foods at or above 135 degrees Fahrenheit. Facilities choosing to prepare food must have a designated space for food storage within the designated food preparation area or in a room not calculated as part of indoor floor space, and in an area not used for diapering. Off-site food storage is permissible only if the site of storage is a licensed child care facility under the same ownership that includes a food preparation area that meets licensing standards A. Food containers, such as cans, plastic containers, boxes and bags must be stored above the floor on clean surfaces protected from splash and other contamination

32-07 · Outdoor Equipment
CCR observed that the ground covering was below the minimum requirement of six inches. During the inspection, Child Care Regulation observed that the facility did not maintain the mulch [Monkey bar, slides, climber wall, and climbing ladders], in that the mulch depth measured [2 and 3] inches in depth. The facility will have six inches of a resilient surface no later than [7/26/2023]. Child Care Regulation will return after this date to check for compliance. Director provided an estimate from a mulch company for the back playground. Fall Zone. CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, D D. Permanent or stationary playground equipment must have a fall/use zone that extends a minimum of 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the equipment.
