Upon arrival, 2 classrooms were without direct supervision; a group of 8 children in the 2s and a group of 7 children in the 3s. The staff member for the 2s was observed walking out of the 1-year-old classroom and back to the 2s classroom. The 3s were being supervised on and off by the staff member responsible for the 4s classroom. She was observed standing in the hallway between the two classrooms but stepped into her classroom (the 4s) on several occasions, leaving the 3s classroom completely unsupervised. The issue was corrected when the 2-year-old staff member returned to her classroom and the 3-year-olds were moved to the 4s classroom

42-03 · Written Release Procedures Group: Sec. 7-44, Ordinance and DCF Handbook
Complaint alleges that the child care released a child to an unauthorized individual on March 20, 2025. On March 25, 2025, the father picked the child up and the facilitator advised that the son is no longer welcome back to the daycare anymore. FINDINGS: A complaint inspection was conducted on 3/27/2025 and a statement from the director was received. Per the director, she stated that the father was running late to pick up the child so he asked that the child be released to a friend. The director stated that she saw him via video phone call and she knows it was the father authorizing the release. The father did not provide a password when authorizing the release. The child's file was checked for compliance and the father is listed on the application as the father of the child. There is nothing on file preventing the father from picking up or allowing another individual to pick up the child. The director was given technical assistance on documenting a password for both parents to provide to the school in cases that an individual not on the pickup list picks up the child, unless there is court documentation on file limiting the rights of one party. This complaint is substantiated
