12-03 · Facility Environment
During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed a fence that was on the playground that was to the right of the brown and beige wall, adjacent to the parking lot. The top portion of the fence had a pole the was horizontal. The left end of the pole had a pinching factor. Directly to the left of the pole was a vertical pole that had metal around it holding the screws of the fence together, it had sharp edges and rust. To the right, the portion of the fence that intersection with the portion of the fence that has the pole, that area of the fence, at the bottom, was protruding out towards the parking lot. 37-06 · First Aid Requirements
During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that there were items missing from the First Aid kit for the vehicle. The missing items were cotton balls and bottled water. This standard was brought back into compliance at the time of the inspection, in that the Director added cotton balls and a bottle of water to the vehicle First Aid Kit. During the inspection Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 6.2 First Aid Kit Minimum Requirements C. Each kit must be kept in a closed container and labeled First Aid and must, at a minimum, include: • 1. Soap and hand sanitizer (to be used with supervision if hands are not visibly soiled • and if no water is present), • 2. Adhesive bandages, • 3. Disposable, non-porous gloves, • 4. Cotton balls or applicators, • 5. Sterile gauze pads or rolls, • 6. Adhesive tape, • 7. Digital thermometer, • 8. Tweezers, • 9. Pre-moistened wipes, • 10. Scissors, • 11. Bottled water (for cleaning wounds or eyes), and • 12. A current resource guide on first aid and CPR procedures

During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there were 6 milks that were expired in the refrigerator. During the inspection, the director discarded the milk. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.2, B Stored food must be consumed or discarded on or before the expiration dates listed by the manufacturer

During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed chargers plugged in the Lions Room as well as the Zebra Room. During the inspection the director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.1 A.- General Health and Safety Requirements. A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months
