The provider sent an email blast to all parents of enrolled children to acknowledge both the Influenza and Distracted drivers brochure on 8/29/2024. The specialist advised the provider that the Distracted drivers brochure must be acknowledged by parents twice a year in the months of April and September each year. The provider had parents acknowledge the brochure but in the incorrect month. TA was provided to ensure that the brochure is acknowledged in the appropriate months each year for all enrolled children at the facility.     At the time of the incident, information obtained during the investigation revealed a one year old child was bitten multiple times by a classmates and the teacher was unaware of the incident until the child's mother contacted the director and asked about the multiple bite marks on the child's arm. The child was bitten 3 times on their right arm, and was wearing short sleeve clothing that would have been visible to the teacher. The noncompliance was resolved because the child was withdrawn from the facility. The provider was advised to ensure that all teachers are supervising children in care

The provider advised that parents pre make the bottles and they warm them as needed. The counselor asked the provider how the bottles are warmed and the provider advised that staff warms the bottles in a microwave placed outside the infant classroom in the office. The counselor advised that the provider can not warm bottles in the microwave and offered other appropriate warming devices. The provider stated that she will order a bottle warmer to use and advised that for the rest of the day they will warm infants bottles in the food preparation area using hot water as needed.
