At the time of the inspection, the provider revealed that the child was given milk by another classmate and touched a muffin that contained milk in the pre-cooking methods which resulted in an allergic reaction. The provider was advised to ensure children with known allergies are not given their allergens to maintain the compliance of this standard. The noncompliance was resolved because the classroom became dairy free and also; at the time separated the children during meal times with those with dairy free diets to contain the probability of cross contamination

05-05 · Technical assistance was given to the provider as a reminder that: Prior to transporting children by vehicle, the transportation log must be recorded with each childs name, the date and time of departure and initialed by child care personnel verifying that all children were accounted for and that the log is complete. Upon arrival at the destination by vehicle, the driver of the vehicle must: a. Mark each child off the log as the child departs the vehicle; b. Conduct a physical inspection and visual sweep of the vehicle interior to ensure that no child is left in the vehicle; and c. T/A was given to the provider to replace all torn or rip mats as soon as break down occur. At the time of the inspection, the counselor observed within the infant classroom baby bottles didnt not have names. This issue was resolved at the time of inspection.
