At the time of the inspection, video footage was obtained of the incident. It can be seen where there are two teachers in the 2 years old classroom. Teacher A.P. walked towards a group of 15 students sitting on the floor in the corner of the classroom while her hands were behind her back. Student A.K. was sitting on the floor, then she leaned forward, face on the carpet, crotched over, and arms on the floor. Teacher A.P. grabbed student by the approximately upper shoulder area, lifted the student off the floor, legs swinging and then placed student of the floor feet first while holding the student's upper shoulder, walking away from the group of students. According to the teacher A.P., on 7/16/2025 she did not do anything wrong. She did not hurt or injure the student A.K. The student was crying and laying on the floor because she wanted to see her sister. She only removed the student because she is fragile and did not want the other students to trample her, so she picked the student up by the underarm and walked towards the doors into the hallway because the students were taking photos. She would never hurt or injure kids. According to the director, the teacher was terminated July 3, 2025, resolving the issue. Please be advised, staff must appropriately interact with student in care
