At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist observed a one year old child place in a high chair while conducting ratio and the provider stepped out of the room/space the children use to prepare lunch and the specialist observed the child was not strapped into the high chair using the safety belt. The specialist advised the provider that while using any high hair, bouncer that offers safety belts the child must be strapped in and actively supervised. At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist observed the childrens mats and mat covers being stored in the restroom on a shelf over the toilet. The specialist advised the provider that mats and bedding used for childrens nap time can not be stored in the restroom. The specialist offered suggestions of where the mats can be stored outside of the restroom and asked the provider to move the mats. The provider placed the children's mats and bedding in individual trash bags and placed them outside the classroom on the steps in home near closest bedroom at time of inspection.
