CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1: Child care personnel must begin training within 90 days of employment and successfully complete the Departments training within 12 months from the date training begins. Training taken prior to employment in the child care industry does not constitute begin training. The begin training timeframe begins at the time of employment in the child care industry. Training completion may not exceed 15 months from the date employment in the child care industry in any licensed Florida child care facility. Counselor reviewed one or more child care personnel files and it was determined that the introductory course was not completed within the first 90 days of hire date
