Licensing Specialist observed other personal was in the infant room that did not complete 45-hour DCF training. 4.2 Training Requirements 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Child care personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of child care training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Child care personnel who successfully completed the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training prior to January 1, 2004 are not required to fulfill the competency examination requirement. A. Specialist observed on video footage teacher leaving one-year classroom unattended. Director watched video with specialist and was told that this was unacceptable. Provider will conduct a meeting for all staff to discuss supervision requirements. 11-03 · Child Discipline
Specialist observed on video footage that teacher yank 3 children by the arm. Director watched video with specialist and was told behavior was unacceptable. Provider will conduct a meeting for all staff to discuss the facilitys discipline policy. Childcare personnel did not follow the program's discipline policy. Licensing Specialist observed a video on 05/01/2024 that showed two children were snatched by the arm on Wednesday 04/24/2024 and pulled across the room by childcare personnel caring for them. Child Discipline CCF Handbook, Section 2.8.B states: The childcare facility operators, employees, and volunteers must comply with written disciplinary and expulsion policies. The director will hold an all staff meeting and review the discipline policy. Please submit the roster of all in attendance of meeting and a copy of the agenda
