Counselor observed that 2 areas of the fencing in the backyard play area were not the required 4 feet tall. One area was adjacent to the entrance gate and the other was on the left hand side of the play yard. Corrective action will be for the fencing to be brought back to its original 4 feet tall height by the due date. (HANDBOOK) F. Fencing, including gates, must be continuous, and shall not have opening or gaps larger than 3 1/2 inches that would allow children to exit the outdoor play area. The bottom or base of the fence must remain at ground level and free from erosion or buildup to prevent inside or outside access by children or animals

Counselor observed during the walk through of the backyard play area that the ground cover under the swing set needs to be enlarged to the required 6 feet out from the swing set and the ground covering (mulch) needs to be 6 inches deep. Corrective action will be to add the additional ground covering by the due date. (HANDBOOK) K. Permanent or stationary playground equipment must have a ground cover or other protective surface under the equipment that provides resilience and is maintained to reduce the incidence of injuries to children in the event of falls. Equipment used for climbing must not be placed over, or immediately next to hard surfaces not intended for use as surfacing for climbing equipment. All permanent/anchored playground equipment must be placed over a shock absorbing material that is either the unitary or the loose fill type extending beyond the perimeter of the stationary equipment
