As LS was doing the walk through of the building LS saw (pictures taken) of a cleaning bottle in 2 of the bathrooms. One in the child's bathroom and one in the teacher's bathroom. The chemical in the teacher's bathroom would be okay if the bathroom was locked but it was open and on a shelf that school agers could reach if they went into that bathroom. This was resolved when chemicals were removed from each bathroom and put up and away from children. Technical Assistance given from handbook: 3.2 Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons A. All areas and surfaces accessible to children must be free from toxic substances, bio contaminants, and hazardous materials/equipment/tools, including power tools, plastic bags, matches, candles, lighters, etc. B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times
