Staff member listed on the supplemental did not follow the discipline policy set by the provider. Corrective Action Plan: Provider must review the discipline policy with all staff members employed by the center. Please submit a copy of the agenda and all current staff members signatures and dates that discipline policy was reviewed to Licensing Specialist. Technical Assistance given: 2.8 Child Discipline A. The child care facility shall adopt a discipline policy consistent with Section 402.305(12), F.S., including standards that prohibit children from being subjected to discipline which is severe, humiliating, frightening, or associated with food, rest, or toileting. Spanking or any other form of physical punishment is prohibited. B. The child care facility operators, employees, and volunteers must comply with written disciplinary and expulsion policies

The incident happened on 09/05/24. The incident report was not written until Friday 09/06/2024 when person on pick up list signed the incident. Technical Assistance given: 6.4 Accident/Incident Notification A. All accidents and incidents or unusual occurrences that are threatening to the health, safety, or welfare of a child that occur while the child is in care must be documented on the same day they occur. B. This documentation must be shared with the custodial parent or legal guardian on the date of occurrence This was resolved when the report was written and signed the next day. Provider stated that during the next staff meeting they are going to review the procedures for accident and incident reports
