Licensing Specialist observed several bottles and sippy cups not labeled with child's first and last name. Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the CCF Handbook: 3.9.5 Food Handling B. Bottles and sippy cups brought from home shall be individually labeled with the childs first and last name and shall be returned to the custodial parent or legal guardian daily. 3.9.6 Breastmilk, Infant Formula, and Food B. The provider must make sure all formula and food brought from home are labeled with the childs first and last name. The provider is responsible for the label; therefore, if the label is not completed by the parent, child care personnel must put the label on when the formula or food is received. Corrective Action: Staff was provided with tape and markers to label bottles and sippy cups. This standard was brought into compliance at time of inspection

The diaper changing pads in the infant and one-year-old classrooms had a cloth covering. CCF Handbook states the following: 3.10.2 Diapering Requirements E. When children in diapers are in care, there must be a diaper changing area with an impermeable surface that is cleaned and sanitized or disinfected after each use. Corrective Action: The cloth covering was removed by provider. Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance on impermeable surfaces and sanitation procedures for diaper changing. The removal of the cloth covering brought this standard into compliance

33-03 · Violation
Licensing Specialist observed one staff member with a start date of employment 9/6/24, who had not begun the 40-Hour Introductory Child Care Training Courses within 90-days of employment in the childcare industry. Licensing Specialist gave technical assistance from the CCF Handbook: 4 Training 4.1 Beginning Training Child care personnel including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month must begin training within 90 days of employment in the child care industry and successfully complete Departments training within 12 months from the date training begins. Training taken prior to employment in the child care industry does not constitute begin training. The begin training timeframes begin at the time of employment in the child care industry. Training completion may not exceed 15 months from the date of employment in the Child Care Facility Handbook Page | 40 care industry in any licensed Florida child care facility. This may be accomplished by classroom attendance in a Department-approved training course, acquiring an educational exemption from a Department-approved training course, beginning a Department-approved online child care training course, or by receiving results from a Department-approved competency examination. The child care program is responsible for obtaining training documentation from child care personnel. Corrective Action: The one staff member began training during inspection. Therefore, this standard was completed at time of inspection
