Counselor observed one bottle underneath the 2 and 3 year old classrooms sink that was not locked and was in reach of the children. The staff member stated it was water and labeled the bottle "Water" during inspection. Counselor observed Seventh Generation underneath the 2 and 3 year old classroom sink that was not locked and was in reach of the children. The staff moved the Seventh Generation into a cabinet that is out of reach of the children during inspection. Counselor observed an electric bug zapper that was in reach of children on the outdoor play area during inspection. Provider removed the electric bug zapper during inspection. Counselor gave technical assistance from the Child Facility Handbook: 3.2 Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times Corrective Action: Staff member labeled the water bottle during inspection, moved the Seventh Generation to a cabinet that is out of reach of children during inspection, and provider removed the electric bug zapper from the outdoor play area during inspection. Therefore, standard was completed at time of inspection

Counselor observed during fire drill, the Mixed age group of Infant and 1 year old with 2 staff; 8 children present, however one child was not signed in with their arrival time on the attendance record. Staff member signed the child in during inspection. Counselor gave technical assistance from the Child Care Handbook: 7.5 Daily Attendance Daily attendance of children must be taken and recorded accurately by the child care personnel, documenting the time when each child enters and departs the program. Corrective Action: Staff member signed the one child in on the attendance record during inspection, therefore the standard was completed during inspection
