04-01 · Technical assistance from the Child Care Facility Handbook: 2.4 Supervision Corrective Action: The provider immediately rearranged the furniture inside of the baby gate area. The provider removed all crockpots & replaced them with bottle warmers. The provider moved the bottle warmers & secured them on top of the mini refrigerators with Velcro inside the baby gate area, farthest from the baby gate entrances. Therefore this standard was completed at the time of inspection

Licensing Specialist determined through testimony & evidence that child #1 received a burn injury to his left leg when he reached in between the baby gate & the back of the refrigerator & reached the electrical cord powering the crockpot. The crockpot fell & the water from the crockpot burned child #1s leg
