During nap time 3 playpens were aligned with the wall with less than 18 inches in between. 7.8 Appropriate, Safe and Sanitary Bedding Napping spaces shall not be under furniture, against furniture that may create a hazard, or blocking exit routes. A minimum distance of 18 inches must be maintained around individual napping spaces, except a maximum of two sides of a napping space may be against a solid barrier, such as a wall. Attendance log for today June 14th and the number of students during inspection did not match: 12 children were in care however, daily attendance was only recorded for 8 students. 8.4 Daily Attendance A. Daily attendance of children must be taken and recorded by childcare personnel, documenting the time when each child enters and departs the home. B. The custodial parent or guardian may document the time when his/her child enters and departs the family day care home.
