Counselor observed a ratio of: 5 Infants/toddlers to 1 staff 6 Twos to 1 staff 16 Threes/ Fours/ Fives to 1 staff This ratio has insufficient staff for the Infant classroom. Counselor observed the staff in the Threes/ Fours/ Fives classroom leave the room multiple times to unlock the facility door for afternoon parent pickup. Corrective action was achieved when the number of children was low enough that classes could combine, leaving an available staff member to handle the door and parent pickup. Counselor observed that staff did not take the attendance roster with them when they left one classroom for another one and/or when they took children outside to play.
