Even though the teachers stated that they had to keep an eye on the child and observed the child in the act of hitting other child, documenting the incidents, and contacting their inclusion services. The licensing specialist has determined that the facility is out of compliance with supervision as the incident occurred daily. Child care personnel must be assigned to provide direct supervision to a specific group of children and be with that group of children at all times. Children must never be left without child care personnel supervision inside or outside the facility, in a vehicle, or at a field trip location. The licensing specialist recommends the facility derives a behavioral policy that will be put in place for any/all children enrolled at the childcare. This policy will be put in place showing what steps will be taken to show what the facility will do to provide all the support a child who is having a behavioral concern. The policy will address that if the policy is not followed what action will take place to protect all of the other enrolled children who come in director contact of that said child(ren). A copy of the policy is to be provided to the counselor as corrective action
