At the time of inspection, licensing monitor arrived at the facility and was informed by provider via Ring Doorbell that facility was closed due to an outbreak of hand, foot, and mouth. Provider emailed two hours later to report the closure to the Department, stating that "50%" of the children were ill. Licensing monitor requested documentation to verify that the outbreak was properly reported to the health department. Provider stated, "parents took them to the doctor and stated that its the hand and foot virus." Provider failed to report the suspected outbreak to the health department. Provider must contact health department and follow recommendations prior to planned reopening on Monday, February 24th
