Specialist observed the fencing around the entire playground is not all the way to the ground. There is 6--inch to 12-inch gap between the play area concrete pad and the fencing and a 3-inch to a 9-inch drop between the concrete pad the fencing. The Child care Facility Handbook states on page 24: F. The outdoor play area must have adequate fencing or walls a minimum of 4 feet in height. Fencing, including gates, must be continuous and must not have gaps or opening larger than 3 inches that would allow children to exit the outdoor play area. The base of the fence must remain at ground level and be free from erosion or build-up to prevent inside and outside access by children or animals

In reviewing staff files counselor found that a staff member had not completed her 45-hour required training. Staff has been in childcare since January 2022.
