FSC observed that the center replaced the A/C unit. However, they did not install a barrier to limit the children access to the A/C unit. 23-07 · Fire Drills

FSC observed that the center did not conduct a fire drill for the month of December and January. TA was given to the person in charge (A current attendance record must accompany staff out of the building during a drill or actual evacuation, and be used to account for all children. The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and staff in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises. Each fire drill record must be maintained for a minimum of two years from the date of the fire drill. The fire drills conducted must include, at a minimum: (1. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route, 2. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times, and 3. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority. This drill will be coordinated with the operator or designee.)

FSC observed that the center is not conducting the monthly inspection of the center physical environment and the playground. TA was given to the person in charge ( All playground equipment must be securely anchored, unless portable or stationary by design, in good repair, maintained in safe and sanitary condition, and placed to ensure safe use by the children. Maintenance must include inspections conducted every month of all supports above and below the ground and of all connectors and moving parts. Documentation of maintenance inspections must be maintained for two years)
