20-06 · Crib Requirements

Licensing observed an infant covered with a blanket in a crib in the infant room also another infant had a toy in the crib while sleeping. The staff removed those items thus it was completed at the time of the inspection. The staff explained the children get cold. Please ask the parents to bring warmer clothes. Licensing provided technical assistance explaining cribs or playpens/play yards used for infants must have tight fitted sheets and no excess bedding, which includes but is not limited to: bumper pads, hanging mobiles, quilts, comforters, receiving blankets, pillows, stuffed animals and cushions
