At the time of the inspection, the CCR counselor observed the home has a swimming pool. The provider stated the children in care do not use the pool. The counselor did observe there were no life saving devices. Technical support was given to the provider to obtain a ring buoy and rope, a rescue tube, or a throwing line and a shepherds hook that will not conduct electricity prior to the due date. This equipment must be long enough to reach the center of the pool, kept in good repair, and stored safely and conveniently for immediate access.
