The ground cover was measured at around three inches in all enclosures of installed climbing and sliding equipment. Facility Handbook, Section 3.12, D 1. If the ground cover in place is loose ground cover (such as, but not limited to: mulch, shredded rubber chips, or sand) a minimum of 6 inches in depth is required in the use zone. Provider will loosen the ground cover using a tiller and if needed add mulch or sand to restore the fall zones under equipment to a depth of 6 inches as required. Provider will email pictures to the licensing office documenting 6 inches of protective surface under all equipment by 4/7/2025
